Donald E. Richardson, 69, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at his home in Lyme, New Hampshire. He was born November 2, 1942 in Royalton, Vermont, the son of Clayton D. and May (English) Richardson.

He served in the United States Army for three years and was stationed in Germany. Donald was employed as a mechanic and machinist throughout his life and was married to the former Elizabeth Bickford.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Richardson of Lyme, NH, a son, Paul Richardson of Cocoa Beach, Florida, his daughter, Lisa Stubbs of Hinsdale, NH, two sisters, Sandra Lavender of Knoxville, TN and Judith Dixon of Mary Esther, FL and three grandchildren, Nathan (15), Brandon (12) and Hunter (10).

Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery of Lyme, NH at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, NH, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Rand-Wilson Funeral Home of Hanover, NH.
