Ann L. Jenks85, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Brookside Nursing Home in Hartford, VT following a period of failing health.

She was born August 14, 1932 in Hanover, NH the daughter of Percy and Winifred (Caine) Longworth.

Ann graduated from Hanover High School in 1950 and worked for Dartmouth College for 48 years; in the Alumni Records and later as Office Manager in the Alumni Fund. She retired on December 31, 1998.

She was married in 1951 to Sherwin A. Jenks whom she later divorced.

She was Past Matron of Kimball Chapter #38, Order of the Eastern Star and Past Grand Esther of the Grand Chapter of New Hampshire. She was also a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and also a past Grand Representative of Indiana and later Idaho.

She is survived by her son, Richard A. Jenks of Fairlee, VT, two grandchildren, Maura and Ryan, three great grandchildren, Hayden Ashlynn and Jameson and by several cousins in England.

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Pine Knolls Cemetery of Hanover, NH.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
