Antoni (Tony) Kozubalpassed away February 1, 2023 in Hanover, NH at home with his wife by his side. He was born in Krosno, Poland on August 9, 1940, the initial months of World War II, to Edmund and Katarzyna (Waclawik) Kozubal. His father died when he was eight. He grew up under the Russian occupation and became a skilled soccer player, which enabled him to go to the head of the lines for the family's food doled out by the occupiers. He forever after hated lines.

Tony came to the United States in 1960 where his mother had many siblings, began work in a plastics factory and learned English, which he mastered with an extensive vocabulary. He continued playing soccer with local teams into his 30's. Two years later he moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts and began work as a computer operator on the large system at the Harvard-Smithsonian Observatory. At that time, his mother and then his sister joined him in Cambridge. In the 1970's, he began a career of real estate owner/management in Massachusetts, which he continued until retirement.

In November, 1974, he married Margaret (Gould) Kozubal whom he had met at the Observatory and they had a son, Marek. They moved to Winchester, Massachusetts in 1983 and lived there until 2017 when they moved to Hanover.

Tony was predeceased by his parents and an infant brother. He is survived by his wife, Margaret and a son, Marek Kozubal. Also by his sister, Maria Anna Nowosielski (Josef), two nephews, Bogdon (France) Nowosielski and Leszek (Genvieve) Nowosielski, two grandnephews, Erik and Emil, and grandniece, Sofia, all of Canada, and many cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was observed at St. Denis Church on February 4, 2023 with internment to take place in the spring at Pine Knolls Cemetery.
