Beverly Ann (Brown) Harrison, age 89, passed away peacefully, on April 8, 2025, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of James Edward Harrison, Sr., with whom she shared 69 years of marriage. Beverly's life centered around her family and friends and she radiated warmth, kindness, and wisdom. Loving mother of Susan DiStasio and her husband Alan of Hanover, NH, Teri Wilson and her husband John of North Easton, MA, James Harrison, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Conway, NH, and Robert Harrison of Hanover, NH. Sister to Donald Brown, Stanley Brown and Frances Lajoie. Cherished grandmother to Alan, Nolan, Andrew, Zachary, Forrest, Bryce, Neil, James, Joshua, and Ethan. Great Grandmother to Alice, Anna, Gianna, and Nora. Loving Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Beverly is predeceased by her parents, Norman and Angie Brown, and her brothers-in-law, Robert Harrison, Richard Harrison, William Harrison, and Joseph Lajoie. Beverly spent her early years in Cumberland, ME and Milton, MA. She raised her family in North Weymouth and Norwell, MA, where she was active in the community and was both a Girl Scout leader and a CCD teacher. Later, she and her husband resided in Yarmouthport, MA, Hadley, MA, New London, NH and Hanover, NH. After raising her family, Beverly earned her LPN at Quincy Vocational School and then worked at South Shore Hospital and Braintree Pediatrics, where she provided loving care to many adults and children. Beverly was an avid reader, loved her dogs and grand-pups, played a wicked game of scrabble, and was a good friend to so many people she met on her life's journey. She will be remembered as a kind, loving, intelligent, compassionate woman who always made time for others. Burial is private. Donations made be made in memory of Beverly to VNHcare.org or a charity of your choice. A Celebration and Luncheon will held at the Inn at Pleasant Lake, 853 Pleasant Street, New London NH on Saturday May 31st from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
