Carlton E. Joslyn83; Of Lebanon, NH died peacefully at his home on Friday January 18, 2013.
Carlton was born on March 26, 1929 in Limerick, Maine; the son of Gilbert & Minnie (Lesveque) Joslyn. Carlton moved to the upper valley as a young boy with his family and grew up in Canaan, NH. Carlton was a construction worker his whole life. One of his proudest accomplishments was being part of the crew who built Interstate 89. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and could always be found on a sunny day at Sunapee harbor fishing for salmon with his cigarettes and lighter under the brim of his hat. He loved Motorcycles and 'fancy' cars.
On June 12, 1965 Carlton married Beverly LaHaye from Lebanon, NH. She preceded him on December 15, 2005. Carlton is also preceded by two brothers; Alfred & Harold Joslyn. Carlton leaves behind his two children, a son Michael T. Joslyn and a daughter Kimberly J. Cook and her husband Mike, of Lebanon, NH. He also leaves behind two grandchildren Joshua J. Flanders & his wife April of Lebanon, NH and Zachary E. Flanders; also of Lebanon, NH and one great-grandson; Jaxson J. Flanders of Lebanon, NH. Carlton's greatest love was his family. Affectionately known as "Beepa", he always had a dollar or two and a warm kind smile with a loving hug for his grandchildren.
