Harriett B. Caney95, of Lyme, NH and formerly of Easton, MA passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.

She was born in Brockton, MA on May 10, 1917 the daughter of Charles and Jessie (Eagan) Taylor. Harriett was one of nine children and was a twin.

She married George M. Caney and lived in Easton, MA for many years until retirement and then moved to Lyme, NH in 1982. Harriett was very active with the Lyme Center Ladies Aid. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Harriett was predeceased by her husband George, by her son Richard Taylor, by her grandson Brandon, and by her sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Caney of Lime, NH, two granddaughters, Jamie Rich of Lyme, NH and Jessica Taylor of Rutland, VT; three great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons as well as by many nieces, nephews and their families and by one godchild, Leo Caney of Lisbon, NH.

Friends may call at the Rand-Wilson Funeral Home on School Street in Hanover, NH from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 16, 2013.

Committal services will be held in Easton, MA at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Lyme Center Ladies Aid, c/o Alice Small, 62 Acorn Hill Road, Lyme, NH 03768.
