Jane McCarthy Mullerpassed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Harvest Hill in Lebanon, NH. Jane was born in Woburn, MA on April 20, 1925 the daughter of John and Esther (Russell) McCarthy. She was raised in Winchester, MA and was a graduate of Winchester High School and Wellesley College, class of 1946.

Jane married Robert Muller in 1946 and they lived in Boston, MA for a year before moving to Meriden, NH where Jane was a faculty wife at Kimball Union Academy. In 1950 they moved to Hanover, NH.

Jane was a former travel agent at Claremont Travel, a volunteer at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital and a member of the Saint Thomas Episcopal Church in Hanover, NH.

For 19 years, Jane and Robert had a winter home on Montserrat, West Indies and then moved to the Moorings in Vero Beach, FL. Many summers were enjoyed at their summer camp on Lake Sunapee in New London, NH.

Jane enjoyed golf as a member of the Moorings and Eastman Clubs, playing into her eighties. Traveling, gardening and puzzle solving were some of her favorite activities.

Robert predeceased her in 1996.

Jane is survived by her son, Bruce Muller of Hanover, NH, her daughter Leslie Jordan of Scarborough, ME, her former daughter-in-law, Merry Muller of Hanover, NH, son-in-law Robert Jordan of Scarborough, ME, grandson Michael Romanow of Riverside, RI, grandson David Romanow and his wife Mary Ellen and great granddaughter Olivia Jane of Las Vegas, NV, granddaughter Kelly Condon and her husband Timothy Condon and great-grandsons Beckett and Broderick of Victor, NY and grandson Robert Muller of Hanover, NH.

A family burial service will be held at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Hanover, NH at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Upper Valley Humane Society, 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, NH 03748.
