Joseph Mulherrin85, died Monday, December 16, 2013, under the compassionate care of Valley Terrace staff in Wilder, VT. Joe was born at home in Hanover, NH to the late Margaret and Joseph Mulherrin and was the youngest of four children, with his sisters Marie, Margaret (Chick) and Kathleen (Kit), who predeceased him.

Joe attended Hanover High School, where he excelled at football and hockey, went on to serve in the US Navy aboard a ship in the Mediterranean, attend Syracuse University and UNH with his best friend from Hanover, Jack McCarthy, and Boston University Law School. Joe practiced law in the seacoast area with his partner Al Casassa and raised two children, Mark and Beth, with his former wife Dorothy.

Relocating to Farrell Farms in Norwich in the late 1980s, he lived a full life of golfing, traveling, reading, and working at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for twenty five years until he became ill in September of 2013. Joe was generous in sharing his spirit with others and he will be missed by many.

A memorial service is planned at Valley Terrace, 2820 Christian Street in Wilder, VT for Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2PM. The family welcomes your presence to celebrate his life.
