Kathleen Linda Alexandra Cruickshank48, passed away peacefully at home on February 11th surrounded by loved ones. Kate struggled bravely with cancer over the past two years and died the way she lived – with courage and grace. Kate was possessed of absolute devotion to her three children and was loved and admired by all who knew her.

Kate grew up on a farm in the Eastern Townships of Quebec where she developed a strong work ethic and a love of animals, both of which remained with her for the rest of her life. She attended Bishop's College School where she acquired an academic foundation for her future educational accomplishments at Bishop's University and the University of Western Ontario.

More recently, Kate received a Master's of Science in Mediation and Applied Conflict Studies from Champlain College. Her success as a mediator was reflective of her passion for bringing people together.

Kate is survived by her parents, David and Jean Cruickshank; her siblings Andrew, Robin and Julie Cruickshank and their families; and her three children Sam, Ellie and Cecilia Bradley; as well as countless friends whom she considered to be extended family.

Celebration of Life will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hanover, New Hampshire at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2015.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center or CaringBridge.org.
