Michael S. Thurston
On Friday, April 26th, 2024, Michael S. Thurston passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

He was born June 26th, 1963 to Oliver "Joe" Thurston and Marie (Pecor) Thurston of Wilder, VT and he attended and graduated from Hartford High School in 1981.

Mike had a love for motorcycles and fast cars and particularly enjoyed the Nascar racing season, loud music, football, steaks on the grill and long rides on his Harley.

His biggest passion and love though was his two daughters, who he built many memories with throughout their shared time together. Some of his fondest memories include summers at the family camp, swimming in the river, cookouts and attending concerts and Bear Ridge races.

His survivors include his daughters Elizabeth Thurston and her partner Jonathan Hood; Jacquelyn Thurston and her husband David Theetge, Jr.; four grandchildren Ryan, James, Preston and Amelia; one great-grandchild and his beloved miniature Dachshund Jemma.

He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Marie Thurston and a brother James Thurston.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 1-5 PM at the American Legion in Windsor, VT.
