Nancie Gardiner Lucas83, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Brookside Nursing Home in White River Junction, VT following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 7, 1928 in Boston, MA the daughter of Frank D. and Virginia (Gibson) Gardiner.

She had been employed as an Educational Assistant at the Ray School in Hanover, NH for many years.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Gibson Lewis of Redding, CT, Mark R Lucas II and Matthew R. Lucas of Durango, CO and Kristin L. Dear of Fairlee, VT, her brother, Guy Gibson Gardiner of Danbury, CT and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Alan Lucas in 1998.

There will be no calling hours.
A memorial celebration will be held on July 9, 2011 from 3:00-5:00 PM at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, VT.
