Ralph (Bill) W. Brothers Jr.88, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at Mt Ascutney Hospital following a brief illness. He was born February 10, 1923 in Hartland, Vermont the son of Ralph and Maude (White) Brothers.

He attended Windsor High School in Windsor, Vermont; graduated in 1941 and on June 19, 1944 was married to Janice R. Jackson.

Ralph was in the Navy and was active in Boy Scouts as an Assistant Scout Master. His favorite hobbies were fishing and camping. He started "Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Wiring" with his two sons which operated for many years; he worked at Vermont Law School as a Maintenance Technician for many years and then at Kendal in Hanover before retiring. He was a member of Christ Community Church in Plainfield, NH.

He is survived by his two sons, Stephen J. Brothers of Andover, NH and Gary S. Brothers of Ascutney, VT; his sister, Olive Brothers of Windsor; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Janice; brother Allen Brothers and sister Louise Royce.

A memorial service followed by a reception will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 11am at Christ Community Church/1259 Route 12A/Plainfield, NH with Pastor Brian Sayers officiating. A committal will follow at the Hartland Cemetery in Hartland, Vermont.
