Richard "Bud" Bushway, Sr.78, of South Strafford, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. He was born in South Strafford on July 17, 1940, the son of the late Chester and Mae (Olsen) Bushway.
Once out of high school he was a body man at Blake Chevrolet in Bradford, VT. An avid pilot for many years, he loved working on and restoring antique aircraft. He also enjoyed restoring John Deere tractors and his 34 Ford coupe. He enjoyed hunting trips to Montana, Kansas and Nebraska with his son and grandsons. He also enjoyed traveling and taking road trips with his wife, Mary, whether it be in their 34 Ford coupe or in the Waco biplane.
