Richard M. Ingersoll81, of West Lebanon, NH, died July 25, 2013 at Wheelock Terrace in Hanover, NH.

Richard was born May 1, 1932 in Gloucester, MA to Samuel and Mary (Anderson) Ingersoll. He graduated from Gloucester High School, Gloucester, MA in 1950 and received his Master of Engineering & Science Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 1958 going on to work at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT as a nuclear engineer working on aircraft engines. In the 1970's he moved to Lansing, Michigan, and worked at General Dynamics as the lead engineer. Upon retirement, Richard moved to West Lebanon, NH, where he met his wife, Florence. They were married September 20, 1997.

Richard was a member of the Rotary Club in Springfield, VT. He served on the Outreach Board at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College, and was a member and Past President of the Upper Valley Hostel.

Richard was predeceased by his first wife, Alice, and is survived by his wife, Florence of West Lebanon, NH and six children, David Ingersoll and his wife, Susan, of Indianapolis, IN, Donald Ingersoll of Lebanon, NH, Gregory Ingersoll and his wife, Kelly Mahony of Derry, NH, Richard Fuller of N. Springfield, VT, David Fuller and his wife, Candy of Perkinsville, VT and Jackie Lampiasi and her husband, Santo, of Claremont, NH fourteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH at the convenience of the family.
