Obituary

Vida Ginsberg Demingdied at home Wednesday, March 11, 2015 surrounded by family. She was born in New York City on August 17, 1920 and attended the Lincoln School and Bennington College where, working in summer stock, she met Quentin Deming with whom she spent the next 75 years of her life.

She had a long, inspired and inspiring career as a teacher and dramatist throughout which she was a mentor to three generations of artists, family and friends whom she nurtured with her unfailing energy, intelligence and great imagination.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dr. Quentin B. Deming; her daughters, Lilith Deming and Maeve Guesdon, her loving grandchildren, Julie and Jeremy Guidoni and Jules Guesdon, her son-in-law Jean-Francois Guesdon, her brother, Robert Ginsberg and her extended adoring family and friends.

There will be a memorial gathering for Vida on July 17th 2015 from 3pm to 6pm at the Cosmopolitan Club, 122 East 66th Street, New York City, N.Y. 10065

Arrangements are under the direction of the Rand-Wilson Funeral Home of Hanover, NH.
